Chicago!

Journal Entry: Sun Apr 1, 2007, 7:29 AM
Livin' in the Windy City Now. Gotta love the Chicago concert scene; I saw Dir en Grey in concert at the House of Blues and I got to meet them backstage! I have limited Japanese skills and they have limited English skills so they pretty much just signed autographs. They have the cutest tattoos on their hands between their fingers (and their hands were prettier than mine). They're coming back in June!!

Writing takes time. Fishheads like to think of a lot of the story before they write it down.
Which isn't good when their memory fails them.

It's the Japanese equivalent of "nice to meet you." Literally, it's "please be nice to me."

Aww too bad neither travel well..usually gyoza are the best right after they're cooked.
It's not to hard to make actually..hmm probably a gyoza website somewhere? I learned from my Japanese teacher. She's so cute. Everytime you showed up early to a party, you get to be on "kitchen duty," so she taught everyone how to make Gyoza and California rolls and mochi and some bean paste snack I forget the name of...

Oh man... but, I'm such a gai-jin. I prefer pot stickers to true gyoza, on;y 'cuz I like the thicker dough. You hafta make me a batch of yours sometime; I can FedEx you some homemade crepes in return!
